Fellow MBN Members,

Our President's Conference is scheduled for March 8 at the Sykesville America Legion. Starting time is 9:00 AM. As always lunch will be provided.
In addition to handling the normal business affairs we will also have representatives from the Mid-Atlantic Kayak Bass Fishing club present (MAKBF). The Maryland Bass Nation will be hosting a kayak championship this year slated for September 12 on Mattawoman Creek. Steve Carman is in the process of posting additional information about this new Division on the our web site.

I would like to ask any of you planning to attend to dig through all your stuff and see if you can come up with items for the youth auction. Even if it isn't fishing related but possess some potential purchasing interest bring it along. Just walking through my basement this morning I earmarked an item or two that I plan on bringing.
If possible when you get your things together shoot me an email with a description that way I may be able to develop some level of inventory for getting the auction off the ground.
Thanks, Roger

MBN State Team Raffle Fundraiser

MBN members, as most of you probably know, we have been trying to come up with a way to raise more money for our State Team members to help with the cost of going to the Regionals each year.

This year we are going to sell raffle tickets with 3 prizes to be awarded. Two of the prizes are products that we have received through sponsors. The first prize is a CASH PRIZE. We would appreciate all the help we can get in selling these tickets.

I will be receiving these tickets this week. We have set the date of the drawing for Sunday, May 17th which is the second day of the Mr. Bass Event. Please help in any way that you can to make it an enjoyable and affordable Regional for those who get to experience it.

MBN Clubs & Regions

There are many active bass fishing clubs associated with the Maryland BASS Nation. These clubs are organized into four separate regions based on where they are located within the state. Clubs manage themselves, socialize, run their own club tournaments, have their own officers and hold elections for those officers, participate in MBN-sponsored tournaments, etc. A listing of clubs and their regional alignment can be found on our ‘Clubs’ page.

If you are interested in joining a club in your area, go to the ‘Join Now’ page on our website and fill out an application. If you are interested in starting an adult club, refer to the Bassmasters article on how to start one. If you are interested in starting a high school club, refer to this packet of information. You can also contact a Region Director .
